On Sunday, April 10, our church was filled with much needed joy and enthusiasm as our parishioners were converging to church to welcome the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus on Palm Sunday.

On this joyous occasion, following our longstanding tradition, we had the children’s procession around the church, with many of our Sunday School and Haigazian Armenian students proudly waving the little palms in their hands.

Afterwards, the ceremony of the “Opening of the Portals” was conducted. This year, our godfather for this ceremony was Vrej Hovagimian, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Aram and Sosi Hovagimian and the grandson of Anahid Hovagimian and Karen Hagopian.
